Annabel Swaleh FCCA is Head of Finance at Fusion Consulting Group. She has more than 20 years’ experience in strategic planning, group reporting and financial leadership for fast-growing, acquisitive businesses.
About Annabel
Annabel joined Fusion in 2022 and leads financial management across the whole Group. She produces the monthly Board packs and forecasts that guide its strategic decisions. She has been central to Fusion’s acquisition strategy. She built the valuation models behind its acquisitions, kept the Group’s data rooms investor-ready and led the financial integration of seven acquired businesses. She has also steered the Group through a period of strong growth. Her role in the Group’s refinancing included lender covenant reporting and the financial due diligence behind the deal.
Annabel manages a finance team of three and runs Fusion’s finance operations day to day. Her remit covers payroll, VAT and CIS returns, statutory filings and year-end audits, including leading the Group’s consolidated statutory accounts under FRS 102. She manages departmental budgets and performance tracking, cash forecasting and credit control. She has also built financial controls designed to scale with the business.

Before Fusion, Annabel was Finance Manager at technology business Fabacus. There she managed financial reporting, budgets and cash flow, CAP tables, R&D tax credits and EIS/SEIS investment schemes, and helped secure new sources of finance.
She spent 14 years at Gemserv as Senior Accountant. She produced group management and annual accounts, supported three-year business planning and implemented new finance systems. She also acted as finance lead and company secretary for several energy-industry client companies, presenting monthly accounts to their boards.
Giving back is important to Annabel. At Fusion she introduced the Give As You Earn scheme, which makes it easy for colleagues to donate to causes they care about, and brought in life insurance cover for staff. Outside work, she volunteers as Independent Examiner of the annual accounts for Epping Forest South District Scout Council. She has also helped young people from East London build their interview skills through City Gateway. She is a committed fundraiser too, having run the British 10k London for the Whitechapel Mission and taken part in Race for Life for Cancer Research UK. Her other fundraising includes a parachute jump for Tourettes Action and a cake sale for Mencap.
Annabel is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). She is known for her hands-on leadership, her close work with stakeholders and the strong, capable finance teams she builds.
